We really do think we’ve got to address this issue, quickly. We know we’ve all seen the c-section rate surge. 🥲

Very important for those who have had a cesarean to share their stories.

Here is another opportunity for you to talk about the importance of birth centers and midwifery care especially as our maternal health deserts will grow here in the US.

Remember, whenever you see a map of maternal health deserts, it’s many times larger for those with a prior cesarean and it’s about to get worse.

We need to focus on increasing access to care so we can generate the best outcome for all parents and informed consent is a huge part of that.

Telling women they have no option but a repeat cesarean - in any setting - is not generating the best outcome.

Breastfeeding twins is not for the faint of heart.
It’s a full-time job… with overtime… and no breaks. 😅👶👶

But guess what? You can do it — one feed, one latch, one moment at a time. Whether it’s tandem nursing, pumping for both, or some mix of everything — it’s still breastfeeding. It’s still bonding. And it still counts.
