I had a conversation earlier this week that was all too familiar. A woman reached out to us because she is frustrated with her weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, and just generally not feeling like herself after menopause.

She's researched everything.

-GLP1s
-Hormone Replacement
-Diet
-Exercise

This list goes on. But all of this research hasn't done any good because at the end of the day she hasn't implemented anything and she still feels like a stranger in her own body.

Sound familiar?

We're not lacking information. There's plenty of books, podcasts, social media influencers, ChatGPT, etc. that we have all the information we need right at our fingertips.

So what's the problem?

The problem is there's SO MUCH information that we get paralyzed in information overload. We don't know where to begin or even which information is right for our personal situation.

This is where working with an expert comes into play. We review your health history and where you want to go with your health and we provide a personalized blue print to move forward.

But it doesn't stop there.

We know implementation is the hardest part so we provide weekly coaching and community as you navigate your journey. This is the magic sauce. Because help is never far away. You don't have to be perfect, you just have to be willing to show up for yourself.

Information + Implementation = RESULTS

If you want to finally feel better, it's time to STOP researching and actually take the next step to start working with a provider to get started.

You go to your traditional medicine doctor with your concerns. You're tired, you're moody, you have GI upset, your A1C is slightly high but not yet in the pre-diabetic or diabetic range. You're not sleeping well, you lack motivation and you just generally don't feel "right".

Your body is sounding the alarm. You're trying to listen but your doctor just shrugs their shoulders and says "your labs are normal, we'll see you back in 6-12 months". If you really push, you might get referred out to a specialist but that will likely result in more of the same. This leaves you feeling frustrated, stuck and thinking "why do I even try?"

You know your diet could be better, you know you could be exercising more, you know you probably need to get better sleep. But nothing you've tried seems to work so you throw in the towel.

We see it all the time. Women who are looking for answer and doctors who are simply waiting for your labs to be out of range enough to prescribe a pill or they give generic advice like "try to change your diet and lose a few pounds".

The women we work with don't want to wait. They don't want to take a pill that's just going to mask their symptoms and likely come with a host of side effects that will likely lead to more medications down the line.

The women we work with KNOW there is a better way. They're ready to do the work required to actually feel better. They just need a proven blue print that works and a team that's ready to support them on their journey.

That's where we come in. We meet you where you are. We provide the education, tools, team and community you need to be successful and you commit to show up every day and do the work, even when it's hard or inconvenient.

Our approach leads to more energy, less reliance on medications, weight loss, reduced pain and inflammation, more self awareness and confidence to keep these habits long term.

It's not always easy, but your health is always worth it ❤

We hear it all the time. Women tell us over and over again "I just don't feel like myself".

You've been to the doctor and all your labs come back "normal". You eat mostly "good" but your diet could be better. You try to exercise when you can. You find books and podcasts and social media influencers as you scramble to find answers for yourself. And you're friends? They're all experiencing the same thing. You would never know by looking at any of them, but when you sit around the table and start to open up you learn almost everyone is tired all the time, moody, unmotivated, etc.

Is this normal?

No. This is (unfortunately) very COMMON but it doesn't have to be YOUR normal.

Here are 4 reasons you might not feel like yourself (number 3 might surprise you!)

1. Hormone shifts - yes, your body is changing even if no one has explained exactly how.

2. Your stress response is overloaded - this can feel like fatigue, anxiety, or burnout.

3. You're under-fueling - eating less isn't always the answer. It can actually make things WAY worse in the long run.

4. You're only seeing part of the picture - basic labs don't always show what's really going on. "Normal" lab ranges do not always mean your body is functioning optimally.

If you don't feel like yourself, it's not something to ignore. It's something to understand. If you're looking to partner with a team to better understand the root cause of your concerns and FINALLY make changes that stick, message us today!

When we think of making changes in our health we can sometimes get overwhelmed by ALL the things we need to change. We think about our diet, our sleep, our exercise, our water intake, stress management, the list goes on and it can get to a point where it becomes too much to even get started.

What we miss with this approach is the power of the little things. Making small shifts in support of our health not only makes it easier to just get started, it makes it so much easier to actually stick to.

Here's what we normally do. We think OK tomorrow is Monday and I'm ready to actually make the changes I've been trying to make for months now. Tomorrow I'm going to set my alarm for an hour earlier and I'm going to go to the gym for real this time. When I get home I'm going to grab the food I meal prepped today and have breakfast before I head out the door.

You think this is simple, you think it's really just one change and you should easily be able to commit and finally stick to it this time. But here's what usually happens...

Monday you wake up when your alarm goes off and you go to the gym. You get home and you realize you didn't meal prep your food last night so you grab your coffee and head out the door. Tuesday comes and you snooze your alarm. You wake up too late to go to the gym so you think "it's fine, I'll just go later"....later never comes. You'll try again tomorrow. Wednesday, same thing. And by the end of the week you're not even setting your alarm for the gym anymore.

This approach is rooted in shame and it's likely a cycle you've been stuck in for a while now. But what if instead, we took the approach of starting small.

Today you start with 10 minutes of stretching in the morning when you get out of bed. Next week you add on 10 minutes of walking. Next, you add in a healthy breakfast that includes protein and vegetables. Finally, you swap your morning coffee for a cup of lemon water.

By the end of the month, you're sleeping better, you have more energy, you're moving better and you're waking up on average 45 minutes earlier than you used to with ease.

Which approach would you say actually works? Start smaller than you think. ❤

We hope you're taking some time this spring to enjoy the little things in life. Plant some new flowers, enjoy the sunshine on your skin, enjoy some seasonal foods. Maybe for you, it's a good spring clean and general reset.

Spring is a great time to set some intentions for the year. Maybe you've already given up on your new year's resolution. Maybe you're feeling summer just around the corner and you're frustrated that you still haven't lost that weight. Maybe you have a big trip coming up and you're hoping you can keep up with the rest of the family. Maybe coming out of the cold, dark winter you're feeling less like yourself than ever before.

Whatever space you find yourself in this spring, we hope you're making space to enjoy the season in a way that feels good to you and is supportive of your general wellbeing. 🌷

It's not too late to get started. Whatever your goal is, there is still time. You've got this.

It's likely some of the symptoms you've been experiencing are the result of a hormone imbalance (even though all your labs are normal!) Here are 3 tips for balancing your hormones naturally:

1. Relax! I know this is easier said then done (especially this time of year!) But the truth is many of us live in a constant state of fight or flight. Your body needs you to get into your parasympathetic nervous system daily. Find some healthy ways to take care of yourself and reduce stress. You might be surprised to learn that this might not include mindlessly scrolling on social media or binge watching your favorite shows. Think more along the lines of a walk in nature, 1 minute of deep breathing, etc.

2. Eat More! Many women have been chronically dieting and undereating for years or even decades. Believe it or not, in your attempt to lose weight , you are sending your body signals that you're in danger. So it begins to shut down all non-essential functions like s*x hormones, hair and nails, weight loss, etc. It's time to start eating MORE nutrient dense foods with a focus on proteins and healthy fats.

3. Move your body! Our body expects us to move daily. This helps with detox pathways, digestion, etc. You don't have to worry about spending an hour in the gym if your time is limited, I know you're busy! Break up your exercise into 10-15 minutes and build on from there. While you're at it, ditch the intense cardio sessions and stop worrying about the calories burned. Start focusing on resistance training and building muscle. This helps burn fat, improve insulin resistance, and improve body composition.

All of this is easier said than done and it's hard to know if you're on the right track. That's why working with a team who knows your individual needs is so critical. When you work with us, you have access to a Nurse Practitioner who will review your individual labs and health markers and make specific recommendations as well as a National Board Certified Health Coach who will help you apply the habits and behaviors that will make the biggest difference in your lifestyle.

Which one of these tips do you think would make the biggest difference for you?

03/27/2026

I know you’ve tried everything. You’ve done the weight watchers, the optavia, the calorie counting, the low fat, the low carb, the detox teas, the list goes on.

These methods tend to work for a short period of time until they don’t and then it all comes crashing down.

You’re stuck in an all or nothing mindset and you’re taking one step forward and three steps back every time.

What if I told you that working with us could get you off this roller coaster?

What if I told you that 60 days from now you would understand your body better than you ever have before?

What if I told you we could customize a blueprint specific to you and your needs so you never have to question “will this work for me” again?

Would you believe me? Would you be willing to invest your time, effort and energy into YOURSELF for once?

If you’re ready to start your journey today, give us a call!

01/28/2026

We know that our health journey is about SO MUCH MORE than weight loss. At the end of the day, weight gain or weight loss resistance is a SYMPTOM of something deeper going on and a lot of times the answer isn’t always “eat less/move more” it’s so much more nuanced than that.

I met with a client yesterday who was feeling frustrated that she wasn’t losing weight. Sound familiar?

So of course we talked about some nutrition strategies that could support her weight loss goal. But as the conversation continued, she realized that there were some other things going on with her body that she needed to pay attention to. And guess what the answer was?

Better sleep and stress management habits.

She was then able to identify that her habit of watching TV at night was contributing to going to bed late and having interrupted and not restorative sleep. She then remembered that she used to meditate before bed and she really enjoyed that habit.

The key here is that SHE identified the challenge, SHE identified the pattern, and SHE came up with a solution that she knows will work for her.

As your coach, it’s not necessarily my job to have all the answers. It IS my job to make sure you are supported and to serve as a guide as you find your own solutions.

THIS is where the magic happens. THIS is growth. And THIS is what leads to sustainable change over time that leads to long lasting improved health outcomes versus quick fix solutions that lead to burnout and starting over every Monday.

Sometimes the thing that gets our immediate attention (in this case the scale) is not always the first thing that needs to be addressed directly or the thing that’s going to make the biggest difference in our overall health.

So yes, while this person did leave the call with some nutrition advice that will support her weight loss goal, she more importantly left with an action step and a tool that helped her get an immediate result that she can repeat over time and enjoy lasting effects from.

If you’re ready to stop taking random advice from random doctors on the internet and ready to take real action to improve your health, give us a call today!

Now that the holiday season is in full swing, take some time to set some intentions for the remainder of the year.

Don't let the last few weeks of the year be a blur of rushing, shopping, eating, drinking and stress.

Slow down.

Let go of the perfection of all or nothing thinking.

You might have to adjust your expectations during this busy time and that's OK. We always say to think in terms of "good, better, best".

We don't always have the capacity to have the "best" habits. But that doesn't mean we should allow ourselves to slide all the way back and completely neglect our needs just because we're busy.

There's room in the middle.

Finding this middle ground is where the magic happens because this is where we find consistency. Consistency over time is what leads to actual change. Instead of gaining and losing the same 5-10lbs year after year, we can finally break that plateau. But even better, we start to actually feel better, have more energy, more resilience, better mood, etc.

After speaking to 1000s of women, we know that's what you actually want. You want to FEEL better. You want to show up as the best version of yourself for the people you love during the holidays and all year long.

Let me break it to you.

You can't keep showing up for others the way you want to if you keep putting yourself on the back burner thinking "I'll do it later" or "I'll get to it soon".

The time is now.

"For the first time in my adult life, I didn't feel overly stuffed from Thanksgiving" -Dolores 80 years old.

This is a quote from one of our Practice Members during a coaching session this week. We were sharing about our holidays and celebrating our commitment to our health. At 80 years old, Dolores shared that she enjoyed Thanksgiving with her family and left the table feeling great. She enjoyed her holiday traditions and for the first time in her adult life, she didn't see it as an opportunity to over indulge.

Can you imagine that?

While some of us are still feeling guilty about our food choices over a week later, our Practice Members are thriving! Even the people who did feel like they over indulged found it easy to get back on track with the basics this week.

Do you know what the difference is between you and them? They have spent the time to really commit to a process that educates them and helps them get in tune with their body. Once you are able to release the stories that are holding you back and tap in to what your body needs, you stop fighting the losing battle of being on endless diets that don't work. You finally start to feel good and you take back control.

Our Practice Members have more energy, less pain, better digestion, less reliance on medicine, and overall better health outcomes because they are committed.

Could you be next?

"I don't even like myself"

I had a conversation with a woman earlier this week who is experiencing all kinds of symptoms. Unexplained weight gain, anxiety, fatigue, poor sleep, aches and pains, you name it.

She feels like everything is changing and her doctors just aren't listening to her. She feels unheard, dismissed, and confused.

She told me "I just want to feel better, I don't even like myself"

She feels this way because she's tired, she's irritable and she finds herself taking it out on her family.

This is no way to live!

Unfortunately, this story is not unique. We hear similar stories over and over and over again.

That's why we're here!

You deserve better! You deserve a provider who will listen to you. You deserve to feel better. You deserve to be able to go to work and still have energy left over at the end of the day for your family and for yourself.

If this sounds like you and you're ready to try something different, our team is here for you. Send us a message to get started today.
