It’s stuff like this that makes my heart sing . This person is bone on bone in his knees and he went to a certain place to be stretched and they over stretched him to the point where they moved his left leg out of the hip joint . Then when he stood uphe felt initially better but the next morning had excruciating right knee pain .
Remember, your body is a tensegrity system. Stretching is amazing, but sometimes not everything needs to be stretched and sometimes they just don’t need to have the same intensity bilaterally. The key is tapping into your body and listening to what feels right .

And if you’re stretching people for a living or doing body work or any sort , a little assessment of their gait, posture, and muscle integrity before doing your work, is probably the best venue to take . There is no ONE WAY for everyone. There are many ways and each person may need a different one each time they see you. Let their bodies be your guide and then let your scientific knowing navigate your modalities .

Bodywork is amazing and so impactful. I’m honored to hold the title “Licensed Massage Therapist “. I’m humbled to walk into the world of wellness in a way that shows such amazing results and I’m beyond grateful for all the teachers I’ve had and and will keep having a long the way .

It’s so nice to live in a village where we all help each other , after shoveling my driveway , my neighbor met me outside and we shoveled another neighbor’s driveway and the sidewalks . Remember if you’re outside working today , wearing good shoes with traction and lift those shovels with your legs and pecs. Keep your shoulder blades rotated downward and get it!
