I have finished orientation today. Tomorrow I start my first nursing job with a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift! Wish my patients luck.

I will also be worried about the hurricane in the Gulf right now, heading for Florida tomorrow, my baby girl is too close to the path for comfort. Hopefully it will stay far west of Orlando. There is nothing I can do now but wait, watch and worry. Hoping all in the path remain safe.

Home, clean, warm. Laundry is in. Last minute pass left me a little unprepared for the overnights. So worth it! Vacation is over in a week. I'll be starting a new job a week from tomorrow! Time for socks and shoes, goodbye for now flip-flops.

Area 51! Well 5+1 = 6. I had a terrible day, I've run away from home, needed a little stillness. Cliff Pond nearing dusk didn't disappoint. I'm in Area 6 at Nickerson if anyone wants to drop by for a marshmallow. Just look for my bus, I'm tucked into a nice spot, extra bedding is available if you want to stay. Bring cookies!
