🩸 URGENT COMMUNITY NEED – DONORS NEEDED THIS FRIDAY 🩸

We just received an important call from our partners at Blood Bank of Delmarva — blood supplies across our region are currently at emergency levels.

This Friday, Milford Wellness Village is hosting a Blood Drive on campus, and we need our community to step up.

Right now, only 15 appointments are scheduled.

Every single donation can help save up to three lives.

If you are healthy and eligible, please consider signing up today. One hour of your time could make a life-saving difference for someone in our local hospitals.

We’re proud to partner with Grassroots Pet Rescue for this upcoming Pet Clinic & Pet Food Pantry at Milford Wellness Village. Supporting our neighbors — and their furry family members — is what community is all about. Join us!

🚨 GRRTribe, we need you 🚨

At Grass Roots Rescue, we see it every day—families working hard, doing their best, and still coming up just a little short. And yet, they continue to love and care for their pets with everything they have.

So we’re stepping in to give a hand up.

🐾 GRR is planning its very first Vaccine Clinic & Food Pantry 🐾

This event will provide:
🐾 FREE vaccines—dogs only (to qualifying households)
🐾 FREE food pantry—pets and people
(for those attending the clinic)
🐾 Donation based nail trims—thanks Christa’s Pet Services
🐾 $10 microchips

Because no one should have to choose between caring for their pet and paying a bill.

We are BEYOND grateful to the Milford Wellness Village for allowing us to hold the event there, and to the incredible local veterinarians and vet techs who have volunteered their time and talents to make this possible. Now, we’re calling on our amazing GRRTribe to help us take it across the finish line.

-Allow your business to serve as a donation collection site for pet food and supplies.

🌟Become a Sponsor
-Help offset the cost of vaccines and event supplies so we can serve as many families as possible.

🌟Donate Supplies or Funds
-Dog/cat food, treats, flea/tick prevention.
-Non-perishable food for people, sealed formula, diapers/wipes.
It all makes a huge impact.

We’re excited to introduce Miss Keisha, our new Village Café Cook at Milford Wellness Village! With over 20 years of experience and a true love for cooking from the heart, she brings passion and flavor to every dish — so come visit the Village Café and taste the difference.

Her culinary journey began at just 17 years old, preparing full Thanksgiving spreads on her own — and she’s been creating memorable meals ever since.

Garlic and fresh kale greens are among her favorite ingredients, and she looks forward to bringing even more variety to our campus menus.
