SHINE is the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for Massachusetts. The SHINE program does not sell insurance or receive incentives or commissions.

SHINE provides unbiased health insurance counseling and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare, their caregivers, and those approaching Medicare eligibility. SHINE provides unbiased and objective health insurance counseling, information, and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare, their caregivers, and those approaching Medicare eligibility. Our services are provided at no charge to clients.

Statewide, there are more than 600 certified volunteer counselors trained to assist residents with Medicare.
