**Obituary for William Ray Brim**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Ray Brim, a father and grandfather, who took his last breath peacefully on October 6, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on September 28, 1932, in the small town of Beattyville, Kentucky, Bill, as he was fondly known by all, lived a life full of adventure, kindness, and purpose.

Growing up in Beattyville, Bill learned the value of hard work and community, lessons that would carry him throughout his life. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force from December 26, 1952, until his discharge on February 1, 1956. Upon returning home, he pursued a Bachelor's Degree, which paved the way for a long and successful career in the insurance industry with Metropolitan Life.

In honoring his memory, we invite friends, family, and all who knew him to attend a chapel service with military honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North 205 Eibeck lane, Williamstown, KY. Date and time pending.

As we remember Bill, let us celebrate his legacy of love, resilience, and integrity. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever remain alive in the stories we share and the memories we hold dear.

Chestine E. Harris, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on October 17, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Chestine lived a life rich in love, laughter, and connection.Chestine was an avid lover of the beach, she found joy in the gentle sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. As a huge Jimmy Buffett fan, she embraced the easygoing, tropical spirit of his music, often playing his songs as the soundtrack to her days. She also cherished her time with the Parrot Head Club, where her enthusiasm in planning events brought countless friends together, embodying the true spirit of community. A passionate reader, she often unraveled the worlds of fiction and adventure, which she would joyfully share with those around her.Chestine's devotion to her family was unparalleled. After her husband, Danny Harris, entered full-time care, she made it a point to visit him daily. Their love story spanned over 61 years, built on a foundation of friendship, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Together, they would often drive for hours, hand in hand, sharing memories and dreams, reminding everyone around them of the beauty of deep connection.She is survived by her loving husband, Danny; daughter Teri Maxwell; daughter Charitee Harris; grandson Topher Moore; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and in-laws who held her dear. Joseph Michael "Mike" Moore

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Michael "Mike" Moore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75. Mike was born on February 17, 1950, and spent his life dedicating himself to his family, his country, and his numerous passions.

Mike was a proud veteran who served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he continued to serve in the Ohio Air National Guard, where he carried out his duties with pride and commitment finally retiring after 24 years. Throughout his life, he was an active member of the VFW Post 6562, the Knights of Columbus, Vietnam Veterans of America, the NRA, and invested many years as a trusted Boy Scout leader, imparting valuable lessons to the younger generation.

Professionally, Mike had a fulfilling career that spanned over 40 years with Cincinnati Bell, later known as Altafiber. His work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of those he served. Known affectionately as "Mr. Fix It," Mike possessed a unique talent for woodworking, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, target practice, and re-purposing anything that others deemed unusable. His creative spirit and resourcefulness will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Dickerson, his cherished children, daughter Stephanie Moore, son Jonathan "Robb" (Elizabeth) Moore, son Christopher (April) Moore, son Joseph "Creed" (Lisa) Jones, and daughter Mechelle Caldwell (Shawn); many beloved grandchildren: Anna, Allison, Ian, Emily, Austin, Isabella, Jessica, Jennifer, and Joseph; along with several great-grandchildren. Mike's legacy of love and creativity will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.

Friends and family are warmly invited to gather for visitation at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on October 08, 2025. In tribute to Mike's life, a funeral service will be held on October 8, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Graceland Memorial Gardens Chapel, located at 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH 45150.

As we reflect on the life of this remarkable man, we celebrate the countless memories made, the lessons learned, and the indelible mark he has left on our hearts. Joseph Michael Moore will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched.

Born on July 3, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara spent her later years in Cincinnati, where she established herself as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and community advocate.

Barbara was a nurturing mother to seven children and embraced her roles as a grandmother and great-grandmother with unwavering love and dedication. Her family was the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent together. Her creative spirit found expression in her love for gardening and the arts, where she derived joy from both cultivating beauty in her surroundings and leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

A passionate advocate for women's empowerment, Barbara dedicated much of her professional life to the YWCA, where she worked tirelessly to help women find their paths. Her compassion and commitment to service inspired many and will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A celebration of Barbara's remarkable life will take place at the Mariemont Care Center, Sunday, October 12th from 2:00-4:00pm. As we gather to honor her legacy and the enduring love she shared, we invite all who knew her to join in this remembrance.

Charles Nause

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Russell Nause, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, who departed this life on October 1, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 13, 1940, in Milford, Ohio, Charlie lived a life marked by dedication, service, and a profound love for his family.

Charlie proudly served in the United States Navy, where he spent over 20 years honoring our country. Following his military service, he dedicated an additional 20 plus years to the fire service, retiring as Chief at Wayne Township. His commitment to public service and his country reflected his deep-seated patriotism and unwavering sense of duty.

He was known for his remarkable storytelling, often regaling family and friends with tales from his military days and experiences as a fire chief. Charlie had a wonderful sense of humor that could light up any room and a warmth that made everyone feel at home. He was a true role model to his children, instilling in them the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion.

A devoted husband to his wife Lois, Charlie cherished their time together, sharing in the joys of family life and celebrating the milestones of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He took immense pride in being a grandfather and great-grandfather, showing a boundless love for his family that knew no limits. His passions included hunting, boating on the lake, and an admiration for eagles, symbolizing his free spirit and love for nature.

Charlie is survived by his wife Lois, children, Phillip (Shelly) Nause, Christopher (Jim) Nause and Karol (Randy) Soucek, grandchildren, Eric (Alexa), Austin and Megan (Tyler), great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Sophia, Harper, Tanner, Chase and Piper, his siblings, Barb, Margaret, Pam, Teri, Greg, Mick and Alison. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Opal Nause, his granddaughter Lucinda Nause, and siblings Joe Nause, Jerry Nause, Patty Nause and Angie Farrell.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Charlie at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. A visitation will take place on October 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, providing an opportunity to share memories and honor his legacy. A funeral service will follow on October 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Following the service, Charlie will be laid to rest at Plainview Cemetery.

Charles Russell Nause will be deeply missed, but his legacy of service, love, laughter, and strength will forever reside in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a true patriot, a loving family man, and a hero in every sense of the word. May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio 2003 Veterans Blvd, Georgetown, OH 45121.
