Making time for yourself…

This can be a challenging topic for many of us. I get it. I used to live at the bottom of my list of priorities.

It gets old though.

As we head into menopause, everything starts to change.

😟 Your weight goes up
😟 You can be a bit moody
😟 You don’t sleep well
😟 You have no energy or focus
😟 It hurts to move in the morning

And still you think you have “no time” to take care of yourself.

Eating healthy doesn't have to be a battle.

Seriously, it can be pretty simple.

Most of us think being healthy is about restricting yourself and giving up the things you love.

Not true!

It’s about getting enough of the right foods and making smarter choices and still enjoying your favorite foods.

And healthy eating can be really fun and easy to do when you know what to focus on.

Where most of my clients get stuck is trying to change everything at one time.

This just leads to frustration and doesn’t work.

Feeling drained and not having the energy to tackle daily tasks gets old.

Some days can be a struggle just getting through the basics of what HAS to be done.

And there never seems to be enough time or energy left over for you.

You start beating yourself up because you feel like you're somehow failing.

You start “should-a -ing” yourself to death:

“I should be be able to do more”

“I should take better care of myself”
