U.S. Navy divers gently carry the ashes of Pearl Harbor survivor Harvey Milhorn, returning him to his fallen shipmates aboard USS Arizona (BB-39). More than eight decades after the attack, he comes home at last, resting forever in the steel tomb where 1,177 brothers still keep watch.🕊️🇺🇸⚓

Our Story

Twenty-two veterans per day take their life as a result of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. Upon their discharge and after serving several years in a high stress environment with constant peer support, our veterans return to civilian life and the adjustments to this change, can leave them feeling overwhelmed and alone.

Some veterans seek medical advice for their PTSD symptoms and find that the medication alone is beneficial. On the other hand, some veterans choose exercise as a way of controlling symptoms. Studies have shown medication combined with exercise and nutrition have a greater impact on lowering anxiety and depression than medication alone.

Iron Plate Gym is a veteran owned company that values our veterans and first responders. Our goal is promotion of physical fitness in all of our clients, especially those who struggle with PTSD, and we will honor this by providing our clients with a comfortable, welcoming environment in which to attain their fitness goals.
