I’m all for lifestyle changes. They make a huge difference in the quality of your life. They make your HRT work better. But they don’t replace your HRT.

If you don’t know, welcome to my Instagram page. I’ve actually been on Instagram for over 10 years and have been speaking, teaching and using hormone replacement therapy for as long or longer than that. Sometimes I forget the exact date lol.

My previous Instagram page was called Wise + Well. It was a business partnership that lasted for six years and I was the person behind that account just like I am the real person behind this account. That account which I ran, turned out a ton of information. I am attempting to do that here as well.

I work with midlife women who want to optimize their health - but within reason. I don’t work with extreme biohackers or people who have highly aspirational body composition goals. No shade to those things, but I am not your person if that is you.

I also love to consider mindset and what a good life is because after all, who really wants health for the sake of health? I am convinced we wanted to lead lives that we love.

I love travel, language, and culture. I’m skin obsessed. Gut health obsessed. Mineral obsessed. If you hang around there long enough, you’re going to be hearing about these other topics as well.

I love what I do and I try to answer as many questions as I can but I can’t answer everything. I’m just one person at the moment.

OK now back to this post - your s*x hormones are freaking downright amazing. They do so much more than support a pregnancy and support secondary s*xual characteristics (which is just a fancy way of saying - physical traits that develop during puberty under the influence of hormones but are not directly involved in reproduction).

Getting hormones on board as a midlife woman and optimizing them is worth your time and effort to learn and pursue. I’ll do what I can to help you in this area!
