One of our wonderful phlebotomy team members, Sonya, lost her 29 yo, beautiful daughter to nasty cancer. Kaylah left behind her young son, whom will be cared for by Sonya and her husband, Doug. I can't imagine losing a child and I pray that I never do. The only thing that we can do as a work family is to continue to support Sonya during these dark days and help her to push forward and be grateful for the 29 years that God blessed her with Kaylah. With the help of the community, if we can all contribute just a little bit, this will hopefully allow the family to grieve the loss of their sweet child without worrying about the financial burden at this time.
