Ever wonder what actually happens during a chiropractic adjustment?
A subluxation is a misalignment in the spine that puts extra stress on the nervous system. That stress pushes the body into sympathetic dominance — the tight, tense, wired state so many adults live in today. Over time, that’s why gut issues, inflammation, immune changes, hormone shifts, tension, and fatigue start to show up.
When the nervous system gets the right, calming, anti-inflammatory input, the body’s anti-inflammatory responses go up, and the stress chemicals that trigger inflammation — like histamines and cortisol — go down.
Subluxation-specific chiropractic adjustments have an anti-inflammatory effect.
And they’re incredibly helpful — but we’re not looking to treat or cure conditions.
We’re helping the body get back to working the way it was designed to.
Chiropractic clears the nervous system.
And the nervous system is the boss of your body.
