A tub cut, also known as a bathtub conversion, is a modification process where a section of the existing bathtub wall is cut out to lower the step-over height, making it easier to enter and exit the tub. This solution is particularly appealing because it's cost-effective, and the installation process is quick, typically completed within a day.
