Join us for the free webinar “The Counseling Compact: The First Steps,” to hear from Greg Searls, Executive Director of the Counseling Compact Commission.

Director Searls will discuss the timeline for issuing compact privileges and ethical considerations before applying. You’ll also learn about requirements to practice under the compact. Professionals have the option to attend the presentation either on Aug. 7 from noon–1 pm EDT or Sept. 4 from noon– 1 pm EDT. Register today at https://bit.ly/CompactWebinar2025.

The Counseling Compact Draws Near! Connecticut LPCs, we need your feedback!

The Counseling Compact has established a preliminary set of rules that all member states, including Connecticut, will be expected to follow. One of those rules gives member states, member organizations, and individual members the right to give feedback on proposed rules. This is our chance to (1) review the proposed rules, and (2) let the Counseling Compact know how we feel about them.

The Counseling Compact is currently taking public comment for the proposed rule on the data set requirement updates. The public comment period will end on August 4, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MT, unless a public hearing is specifically requested.
