POV: your Dysport is wearing off and your headaches are coming back 😣

True story though.

Some people come in for Botox or Dysport expecting smoother skin… and end up surprised by something else: ✨fewer headaches.✨

A new client came in for her second treatment today after being headache-free for almost 3 months following treatment to the frontalis and glabella areas (forehead and frown muscles). Before treatment, she regularly experienced tension headaches that extended from the base of her skull up into her forehead.

Her headaches returned about a week before her next appointment was due, a pattern we often hear. This happened to me too with my first treatment with Botox and it’s such a welcome relief along with the beauty benefits too! I used to get several headaches a month, and now it’s less than one per month.

While Botox is FDA-approved for chronic migraine in specific dosing patterns, even aesthetic treatment to overactive facial muscles can sometimes help reduce tension, muscle strain, and the constant “holding” many people don’t even realize they’re doing throughout the day.

Less clenching.
Less tension.
Less pain.
And yes, smoother skin too. 😉

One of my 💕favorite parts of this work is when patients come back saying,
