🆘SOS: Our shelter is full, and we need your help to change that.

This weekend, we’re offering FREE adult non-breed specific dog adoptions to help more dogs find homes and make room for those still in need.

Each of these dogs is ready for a fresh start—they just need someone to choose them.

Please share and help us get the word out! 🐾💙

🟦We are located at 989 Little Mountain Rd. in Columbus, NC
and are open 11am-5pm on Saturday and 1pm-5pm on Sunday.

This is ‘Turbo’! We had a great walk and some snuggles yesterday. He is available for adoption at FHS. Such a sweet boy. They have so many amazing animals waiting for a home. Come visit the shelter and we’re even having a Dog Yoga sesh next Saturday (4/18 at 4pm) where you can practice yoga and find your new best friend. 🫶😻

UPDATE: Word is Jerry is in a foster to adopt home. Hooray! He is the best boy😍

Spent the morning with this handsome fella - Jerry! He is available for adoption at the Foothills Animal Shelter. He was such a good boy on our outing to the Polk County Senior Center. And I just realized that even though I snuggled the heck out of him, I literally have no dog hair on me-so it seems he is not a shedder (at least not today). He’s not big-less than 30lbs and they say about a year old. Here’s some photos, his info sheet and he helped me color while we were there - of course my students know how much I love a mandala🫶seriously he is going to make someone sooooo happy….love love love him! Comments have some short videos of our field trip!
