The Studio The Studio is a locally-owned yoga and wellness space in the heart of Marin County.

The location has been a Mill Valley yoga destination since 1997 and we have reimagined the space to bring a fresh, new yoga and wellness experience to Mill Valley.

Meet Jane Disson, a new addition to our wonderful team of Reformer Pilates teachers. She will be leading a Reformer Pilates class on Mondays and Thursdays at 4-4:50pm.

Jane is a certified Pilates instructor with a deep passion for movement and wellness. She discovered Pilates in 1999 while recovering from a knee injury, and its physical and mental benefits inspired her to pursue a career helping others move with strength, flexibility, and confidence.

She earned her certification through the Body Arts and Science Institute (BASI) in 2007, with comprehensive training in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair. Jane is also Balanced Body–certified in CoreAlign and continues her education through advanced training with respected leaders including Karen Clippinger, Elizabeth Larkham, Nancy Meyers, Madeline Black, and Eric Franklin.

Jane’s teaching philosophy centers on mindful, empowering movement in a supportive environment. She works with beginners, injury recovery clients, and athletes alike, tailoring each session to individual needs while helping clients build strength, improve mobility, and carry the joy of movement into everyday life.
