There has been a recall of Taro brand Ibuprofen due to findings of a foreign substance. If you have purchased this brand please check the lot number and expiration date to see if it has been recalled and dispose of this medication. No other brands have been impacted. No reports of harm have been reported but please reach out if your child has consumed the recalled products and you notice any side effects.

Is your child straining to stool? Stools coming out looking like little pellets? If so, there may be constipation occurring. Try increasing these foods in their diet (+ prunes work too!) plus increasing water intake (for children over 1). If that’s still not doing the trick make an appointment to discuss next steps.
