Does your insurance, HSA, or FSA reset on January 1st?

That means you have just two more weeks to support your body, ease pain, and receive care before deductibles reset or HSA/FSA dollars disappear.

Acupuncture is a beautiful way to close out the year, helping you feel more balanced, grounded, and supported as you move into 2026.

If you have benefits available, now is the time to use them.

Book your session and let’s tend to your healing.

Living with arthritis can feel overwhelming, but your healing doesn’t have to be.

Acupuncture offers three powerful ways to bring relief…
- Decreased Inflammation: Each delicate needle encourages circulation to flow into areas holding pain. With better blood flow comes more oxygen, more nutrients, and quicker removal of inflammatory waste, increasing the rate of tissue healing.
- Stress Relief: Acupuncture helps shift the body out of “fight or flight” and into a softer, calmer state. As the nervous system unwinds, muscle tension eases, nerve irritation settles, and your body becomes less reactive to pain signals.
- Natural Pain Killers: Your body is designed to heal. Acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins (your own built-in pain relievers) bringing comfort, ease, and an overall sense of well-being.

Ready to feel the difference? Book your treatment and begin your path toward ease and healing.

Moxibustion is a technique used by East Asian medicine practitioners using the flowers of the artemesia plant, or mugwort to warm acupuncture points or areas of the body to drive out cold conditions and the symptoms they cause.

It can ease the symptoms of arthritis, joint pains, digestive upset, menstrual problems, and weak immune system, as well as being very effective at encouraging breach babies to turn.

Moxibustion invigorates the yang energy to warm and strengthen the body and improve the circulation of Qi and Blood.

It is performed using either a stick, placed on the end of a needle, as small grains that look like rice, or ground moxa used in a box over the abdomen or back. The moxa is lit and placed over a point or area to bring warmth to the area. It is important to be alert and cautious when using moxa as it can burn the skin.

We LOVE moxa, especially in the winter!

Bergamot essential oil is one of our favorite oils because it is both calming and uplifting.

It comes from the peel of the bergamot fruit, which is a cross between and sour orange and lemon. Bergamot is the primary ingredient in Earl Grey tea.

We sometimes like to refer to it as the “road rage” oil because it can calm your nervous system without causing fatigue and allowing you to stay alert.

Inhaling bergamot oil can regulate blood pressure, skin temperature, cortisol, pulse rate, and breathing rate according to a 2011 study.

To get bergamot’s aromatherapeutic benefits, put a few drops in a diffuser or simply open the bottle and inhale the scent!

Is your holiday season anxiety ramping up? Give yourself an acupressure treatment!

Acupuncture stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system which governs your body’s rest and digest functions and reduces the fight or flight response your body experiences when you are feeling anxious. It stimulates the release of endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine — feel good chemicals that help you feel safe and relaxed — and lowers your cortisol, a stress hormone.

How can you give yourself a little acupressure treatment while you’re sitting in the airport waiting to see if your flight is delayed or as you prepare for potentially tense family interactions? We’re glad you asked!

There are a few points on the hand and wrist that you can stimulate to help calm your nervous system.
- The first is Large Intestine 4 located where the thumb meets the hand.
- The second is Pericardium 6 and is located the width of 3 fingers above your wrist crease in the middle of your inner wrist.
- The third is Heart 7 and is located on the pinky finger side of the inner wrist just above the wrist crease.

Don’t stress about the locations. Fingers are bigger than acupuncture points. If you massage your inner wrists and your thumb crease, you’ll hit a bunch of great acupuncture points. Rub the points while taking deep cleansing breaths and watch your nervous system relax.

We hope your flight is on time and easy and that all of your interactions are tension-free!

At Soul Sprout, we love to hear people’s reactions to their first facial rejuvenation when they see themselves in the mirror. The reactions they get from loved ones range from “wait, I thought your got your hair cut last week?” to “something is different, I just can’t figure out what”. It doesn’t look like you had botox or fillers. It just looks like something is different. Brighter. More defined. Clearer.

We start with facial cupping to return the smooth flow of excess fluid through the lymphatic system, which results in improved circulation of fresh nutrients to the area and brightens things up.

Next, we use a microcurrent tool which uses a very low level electric current which again improves circulation, stimulates collagen production, and tones the muscles of the face.

Then, you have the tiniest needles for facial acupuncture to help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and reduce wrinkles, as well as improve circulation to the face. At the same time, you’ll have your body acupuncture which focuses on helping your body function as well as possible, and is tailored to your particular needs.

While you rest with your needles in, we put a red light panel over your face which improves cell turnover, stimulates collagen and elastin production, and reduces wrinkles.

You leave looking healthy and vibrant and ready for your close up!
