But every night Facebook updates this profile with the incorrect logo. And I don’t know how to make it stop. At the end of the month I'll be in Los Angeles taking the final exam for Holistic TCM Dermatology. Applying this knowledge, I have been able to help people recover from Acne, Pompholyx Eczema, Atopic Eczema, and Psoriasis. It feels hugely important to offer people an alternative to Steroids and Accutane, which have terrible effects on health. I am thankful to my patients who trusted me to learn along with their recovery. Okay... I gotta get back to studying!

Chinese Medicine Dermatology specialist… it begins. I have all of the first day of class jitters and had the school anxiety dreams last night… You know the one - you’re in class with no clothes and the test is being handed out and you realize you never showed up for a single class… 😳 The difference is that I am mindful of the thoughts and feelings - acknowledge it - love myself through it - laugh a little - and get on with it!

there is scientific evidence to support the use of acupuncture for chronic pain relief. Here’s a peak at the Blog:

Meditation encourages and trains the body to operate in the parasympathetic system - our “rest and relax” system.

The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for sending pain signals and preparing the body for action.

In cases of chronic pain, the nervous system becomes trapped in a constant “fight or flight” or sympathetic system response.

In this state, pain signals are not being delivered as they should. This condition is known as central sensitization or central amplification, where the central nervous system becomes overly sensitive and the pain signals are intensified.

A relaxed and balanced nervous system that does not amplify pain signals is great!

BUT there is something you can access within yourself while in meditation that is even deeper!
