Our physicians diagnose, manage, and assist in the treatment of glaucoma, diabetes with ocular complications, macular degeneration, and cataracts. We offer pre-operative evaluations, surgical care, and post-operative care for cataracts, retinal procedures, LASIK/LASEK, and various laser therapies. We have state-of-the-art diagnostics such as Ocular Fundus Photography which we use to monitor and diagnose macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases. Our patients with glaucoma and macular degeration are monitored through Optical Coherence Tomography, a cutting edge, non-contact imaging technology that provides high-resolution, cross-sectional views of the retina at much higher resolution than other imaging modalities such as MRI or ultrasound. In addition to comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry, Family Eye Care Associates also offers access to specialists that travel to our office in Milledgeville to treat and evaluate our patients.
