I've found that what separates a person from their full potential is SELF. Social-emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which individuals, particularly children, learn to understand and manage their emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. A tragedy that changed my life... having just visited the twin towers for the first time that summer, I remember sitting in my 8th grade class devastated while watching it on the news, wondering why and thinking of all the people affected. Wishing I could do something to help. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
