Dear H&M Drugs Family,

We have been and are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic. We always strive to serve our patients with the best possible care. We want to assure you that we are being proactive in protecting our patients and our employees. Thus, we would like to share the following information with you.

We ask that you please use the drive-thru. It is open for prescriptions AND over the counter products. We are more than happy to get you what you need (if we have it). Please remember, sick patients visit pharmacies. The drive-thru will limit your exposure and our exposure.

Our business hours will remain normal. We are an essential business and will remain open and here for you through this unprecedented time.

At this time, we are limiting 4 customers inside the store at one time. This limits your exposure and our exposure as well.

During the statewide shelter in place order, please limit your visits to ESSENTIAL visits only.

We have increased our daily cleaning and sanitation procedures and continue to use strong disinfectants in all procedures.

Your health is one of our greatest concerns. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions. Our staff is happy to address any concerns you may have.

Dear H&M Drugs Family:

H&M Drugs is continuously monitoring the latest guidelines on management of the COVID-19 outbreak via the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

As these recommendations are updated, we will modify our procedures as needed to minimize the risk of spreading infection.

At this time, we would like to inform you of our latest policy:

• We ask all patients, their families and other close contacts, who have a fever, cough, symptoms of a respiratory infection, or have been exposed to a person with coronavirus, the flu or any other communicable disease to use our drive thru.

•We welcome use of the drive thru for any of our patients that feel that it is a safer alternative for them.

• We ask that you use courtesy and patience as wait times may increase. Our staff will be working hard to fulfill your requests.

• If you are at all concerned you may have a serious infectious disease, please call your primary care physician’s office or the hospital’s emergency department.

There is still quite a bit of influenza activity in the US which is far more likely to cause serious illness than the coronavirus. If you have not yet received a flu shot, it is not too late and is still being recommended by the CDC.

Our cleaning protocols for counters, trays, touchable surfaces, etc. have always been in place.

Wash your hands often; avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth; when you sneeze, cover your nose and mouth with a tissues and immediately throw tissue away; clean and disinfect surfaces and touchable objects; drink plenty of fluids; we do NOT recommend wearing masks as this draws constant touching of the face.
