🚨 HAND COUNTY & SURROUNDING AREAS — EMT CLASS INTEREST LIST IS OPEN! 🚨

If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference in our community, consider joining the upcoming Spring 2026 EMT Course. Hand County, like many rural areas, depends on having trained EMTs available when emergencies happen.

This course is a great opportunity to get certified, build new skills, and help strengthen emergency response in our area.

💡 Why Local EMTs Matter:
• Rural communities rely on neighbors helping neighbors
• More trained EMTs = better coverage for emergency calls
• It's an impactful way to support Hand County and nearby towns

📚 Course Details:
• Dates: January 13 – May 2, 2026
• Live Online Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6–10 PM CST
• Skills Labs: Jan 31, Feb 28, Mar 28, Apr 25 (in-person)

Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and leadership? Hand County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department and ensure our patients, residents, and community receive high-quality meals and nutrition services.

**What You’ll Do:**
✅ Plan, organize, and direct dietary programs and services
✅ Supervise and train dietary staff
✅ Work closely with administration, nursing, assisted living, and dietitians
✅ Oversee food preparation for patients, residents, and community meal contracts (Meals on Wheels, the Manor, the Plaza)
✅ Manage menus, food purchasing, budgeting, and inventory
✅ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

**Qualifications:**
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Certified Dietary Manager (or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months)
✔ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
✔ Knowledge of food service operations and safety standards
