📍 Miller, SD | Full-Time | Hand County Memorial Hospital

Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and leadership? Hand County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department and ensure our patients, residents, and community receive high-quality meals and nutrition services.

**What You’ll Do:**
✅ Plan, organize, and direct dietary programs and services
✅ Supervise and train dietary staff
✅ Work closely with administration, nursing, assisted living, and dietitians
✅ Oversee food preparation for patients, residents, and community meal contracts (Meals on Wheels, the Manor, the Plaza)
✅ Manage menus, food purchasing, budgeting, and inventory
✅ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

**Qualifications:**
✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Certified Dietary Manager (or willingness to obtain certification within 12 months)
✔ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
✔ Knowledge of food service operations and safety standards

Sanford Health is now enrolling for the Fall 2025 EMT Course — and it’s partially grant-funded for qualified students across South Dakota, including right here in Hand County!

🗓️ Course Dates: August 26 – December 12, 2025
💻 LIVE Online Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6–10 PM CST
🧪 In-Person Skills Labs: Saturdays (8 AM – 4 PM) on
Sept 6 | Oct 4 | Nov 8 | Dec 6

What You’ll Get:
✔️ Basic Life Support CPR Certification
✔️ Preparation for the National EMT Exam
✔️ Access to course software, cognitive & psychomotor skills testing
✔️ Opportunity to help in the Hand County community

💸 Cost: $875 for non-grant participants
