Who’s hungry for a challenge? Our StoryPoint Group chefs are!✨

The 1st Annual Senior Living Culinary Challenge is here — an American Culinary Federation competition celebrating the passion, creativity, and skill of chefs redefining dining in senior living.

We’re proud to have 10 StoryPoint Group chefs competing alongside peers from across the industry, all showcasing dishes that bring comfort, joy, and flavor to the seniors they serve every day.

The competition will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the GFS Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI.

Day 5 of Spirit Week: Sports Day! 🏀🏈⚾ We’ve had such a wonderful week celebrating Assisted Living Week, and today was the perfect finale. Residents enjoyed classic Manhattans at happy hour, and we had a very special visit from Max, the gentle and lovable Great Pyrenees. 🐾 We are so thankful for our amazing residents and the joy they bring to our community every single day!

🌺🍹 Danbury Senior Living North Ridgeville turned up the tropical vibes with a lively luau in honor of National Assisted Living Week. Residents celebrated with dancing, leis, and a feast that brought the flavors of the islands to Ohio. This week has been all about fun, connection, and making each day feel like a celebration. 🥳❤️✨

🌺 Day 4 of Spirit Week was Hawaiian Day! 🌴 We took a group outing to Roscoe Village where we enjoyed coffee, visited Indian Bear Cork & Coffee, and explored the charm of the small historical town. It was such a wonderful day filled with relaxation and fun in a beautiful setting! 🌞✨

💖💁🏼‍♀️ Barbie made her debut in 1959 and so did the belief that you can be anything, an astronaut, a teacher, or a queen of fun like residents at Danbury Senior Living Sanctuary Grande. For Generation of Innovation Week, residents took it back to the fabulous fifties and celebrated in true Barbie fashion. 🥂🎀✨

This week, we were led in an art class by one of our very own — a lifelong art teacher who continues to inspire. 🌻🌸 Together, we created beautiful Sunflower and Queen Anne’s Lace paintings, and it was such a joy to see the creativity shine! 💛
