CNC/Swiss Operator/Machinist position details:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Successful candidate will be able to:
*understand and interpret engineering drawings
*use calipers, micrometers, height gages, and standard measuring equipment
*machine close tolerance parts
*full understanding of GD&T and basic shop math A PLUS
*full understanding of M and G codes and ability to edit programs A PLUS
Daily responsibilities are to operate the CNC machine in a productive and safe way to produce parts that meet quality requirements in a timely manner while minimizing waste of materials and resources. Keeping and fully completing all documentation required for the parts made.
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, flexible, have a team player mentality, and have an acute attention to detail.
