Icy weather this past weekend resulted in the maximum effort of all team members at The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation to ensure our community and its residents were taken care of.

Unpredictable situations such as this are where we, as caregivers, regardless of title or role, come together in an “all hands-on deck" mode to assist each other, and that’s exactly what we did!

Thank you to our team, your sacrifices to care for those who cannot care for themselves are not unnoticed! 😊

Ms. Veronica Lyons expressed such joy and graciousness when she learned she was selected as the January 2026 Ambassador of the Month for The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation! ✨

When asked what she enjoys most about living at the Lodge, Ms. Lyons replied, “I love waking up in the morning and being with my friends. My favorite part of the day is the activities we get to do. I am so thankful for all the staff who help take care of me. I am just so happy!!”

Ms. Lyons is a kind and loving person who truly enjoys spending time with her friends and being part of our community. She participates in activities, loves socializing, and brings happiness wherever she goes. We are so proud to celebrate her here at The Lodge at Mills River! 💙

Lots of festivities happening at The Lodge at Mills River - Health and Rehabilitation! ✨

We began our celebrations with a visit from the Imago Dei Classical Academy Choir, whose Christmas songs brought immense joy to our residents. 🎶❤️

On Saturday, our local fire and police departments stopped by to spread even more holiday cheer! 🚒👮‍♂️

We are so thankful for our community and the magic they bring to this season! 💫🎄
