Healthcare trends that I hope stay in 2025 ✌️:
-Blaming hormones for everything😳. Hormones received the worst abuse in 2025. The best way to LOVE your hormones: get a good night sleep, eat to nourish your body, crave movement for your body and follow through, & supplement what your diet is missing.
-Forgetting the basics of healthy living: Reread the above! Get back to the basics and stay there. You would be amazed how much better you feel after a week of healthy habits
-Paying an outrageous amount of $ for clinically irrelevant labs: Come on, we have to be smarter than this. People are paying an outrageous amount for labs that your P*P can and will order. The reason your P*P doesn’t- we don’t want you to get stuck with a huge lab bill for results that are clinically irrelevant! Trust your P*P. We truly do want the absolute best for you. More lab work does NOT mean a healthier you. Countless times I have patients bring me pages and pages of lab work from healthcare gimmick clinics that order a ton of tests and then refer the patient back to their P*P for treatment. This is a RED flag!
- Falling into Healthcare gimmicks: This makes me so sad to see patients getting scammed. Before you go see a cash-based clinic, stop and do your research. Is this provider brand new in their speciality? Does this provider have the certification and education that they are claiming? Is this provider brand new at what they are doing? What is the certification they hold to claim themselves as a specialist?
