Be Yoga Fresh A unique space dedicated to the essence of Yoga! Classes, private sessions and Teacher Trainings. We celebrate our differences!

Hatha Yoga uses postures, in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and calmness. Our primary focus is on safety, and we teach careful alignment combined with conscious breath and quiet mind. We do not heat our rooms, as we believe the body fares best when allowed its own natural course of warming up and cooling down. Classes by trained yoga professionals to meet your needs & keep you safe (with individualized instruction) Emphasis on safe practices and correct alignment. Encouraging non-judgement, non-competition atmosphere among yourself and others in class. We welcome every body, and every BODY. Classes consist of breath work, warm up stretches, standing poses, balancing poses, floor poses and a final relaxation. In class, we learn how to become more aware of our bodies (by listening to our aches and pains), and how to help relieve some of the tension located deep within.

Hello Friends
As many of you know, my26 yr old nephew is on dialysis, waiting on a kidney...Average wait time for a deceased donor is 6 - 8 year, however 40 % of dialysis patients die within 5 years of dialysis. The process is brutal on the body.

I have been advocating with Coalition to modify NOTA and Waitlist Zero to pass the End Kidney Deaths Act.

👉Every day, 25 Americans die waiting for a kidney transplant.

These lives will be saved by the passage of the Act❗️

👉This bipartisan legislation offers a refundable tax credit to living kidney donors who donated to strangers, saving lives, reducing suffering, and saving taxpayers more than $10 million each day.

I have Representative Sarah McBride as a co-sponsor; however, we need a Senator to co-lead. I have started a petition to get Senator(s) C***s and/or Lisa Blunt Rochester to be a co-lead.

Another Year is ending.

I never make resolutions. I never follow them! I still sit on the couch. I still eat cookies, I still drink beer, etc.etc.. I AM a work in progress.🤣

This year, I choose to move forward in patience, rather than pressure. I choose to Add. Not subtract.

During our yoga classes, I guide you to not look for perfection in your poses. Each pose, each breath is an invitation for experience.

Every inhale/exhale brings an opportunity to explore body,, to adjust posture, and to adjust the mind. As I always say, a persons level of experience is NOT how flexible they are or how perfect the pose is. Level of experience is mindset.

Same in our daily life. We always have an opportunity to pause, to experience, to shift our mindset – all for personal growth.

As Krishnamacharya said, “we begin yoga where we are”.

And Yoga is life. Daily life. Its union of our minds, body and Spirit. So,begin each day from where you are. Then add.

As I reflect today, I am choosing to not take anything away (II am keeping those cookies and beer, but not together of course🤣 I am pondering, what can I add?

And I ask you to do the same. Some ideas;

1l) Set aside time for stillness. 5-10 minutes when you wake up. Listen to a yoga chant, soulful music, or your breath. Let breath be your music!

2) Add movement. A quick 5-minute stretch is easy enough. The human body is designed to move.

3) Add gratitude. Before bed, journal 5 things you are grateful for. I am grateful for those chocolate chip cookies at the end of a very long day! I am also grateful for the tough experiences in my life. When we focus on gratitude, it opens the way for more abundance.

4) Practice kindness. Daily.

And tonight, if you can, make a gratitude list of 2025. Then light a candle. It creates peaceful energy and it symbolizes the removal of darkness and the arrival of wisdom.

After all, who doesn’t need more wisdom in 2026?

8 years later 📆⏳👣 I am still learning, evolving, growing.. Yoga is not just a picture. It's the tree.
it's an everyday living practice. It's purpose: to help transcend the ego, illusion and suffering. To awaken our True Nature, as divine beings

Yoga attemps to answer the most profound of human questions: Who am I?

It's not just about relaxation. It's revelation!

Their is no single founder of Yoga. It belongs to no one. It belongs to everyone.

It's roots are deep. From the Indus Civilization (3,000 B.C.) to the Vedas (1500-500 B.C.) to the Upanishads (800-200 B.C.) to the Yoga Sutras (200 B.C. when it was first described as a systematic approach to Self - realization) to the modern era when great visionaries brought it to the West.

Yoga invites us to listen, to surrender and to remember our wholeness. To go inward towards presence and purpose. And connection. As I always say: Yoga Connects Us! 😀

In a world of movement and 30 second clips, people are really just craving Connection!

Yoga is not something to do. Or something to be performed. It is to be Lived.

Like the Tree. Rooted in stillness, extending our branches (to ourselves and others) widening our crown (chakra) towards the heavens/higher consciousness. All to support our daily growth.

What a sacred gift! 💚 🎁

Repeating yesterday can lead to stagnation, no personal growth, and a lack of fulfillment for today, the present.

Patterns are habitual and often rooted in past experiences - which do not serve us anymore. They become "emotional weight" and who really needs any more weight on the body?

Not Me!! 🤣🤣🤣

I want less weight and less baggage in my mental & emotional bodies!
