Overwhelmed 😩 this is where my journey began with meditation.
I was so overwhelmed by a traumatic situation in life that I didn't even know what to do. Looking back I realize that I had lived on autopilot for more years than I care to acknowledge 🙄
Yep, me, the mindfulness coach and meditation teacher once ignored life. I was literally just going through the motions from one day to the next doing the bare minimum to get by. It may not surprise you to hear that I was miserable!
After I started facing some health issues and physical ailments (caused by my body being under chronic stress), I realized that I was not doing myself any favors. I needed to start living life again instead of watching the days pass me by.
Guess what? I did it! 👏🏻
I started meditation (among trying other things) to try and find myself again. I needed to work through the stress that I had brushed under the rug for so long. I needed to connect to who I was and what I wanted in life. These were things that I hadn't addressed for a very long time. In order to do that I had to get real, I had to quiet all the noise, dig in and be truthful and honest with myself.
Once I realized the power, had firsthand experience, I learned to teach. This is why it is so important to me to share how meditation can help work through overwhelm. How if you're stuck in it like I was, it can help you come out the other side with enthusiasm and enjoy life again!
