Journey/Business Update:

First and foremost, I will be OPEN today, Friday Mar 20th from 12-5pm.
We have so many great items to put in those Easter baskets!
Large tins of Everything Balm are available too!

I've heard from so many of you, asking how I am doing so I will drop a quick update on my health journey here:
I want to thank everyone who came to the shop on our last open day. So many of you stopped in and I was overwhelmed, my SIL Cindy had to help run the register. Many more gave your support online too and I really do appreciate all of you. Thank you for staying such loyal customers.
I had my first chemo session on Mar 4th and I will be completely honest, it kicked my ass! But I am bouncing back just in time for my next treatment on the 25th.
I have been reminded why it is important to keep formulating and making my products because I have relied heavily on Everything Balm, Oh Baby soap and oil blends through this journey. They have been necessities and I couldn't imagine not having them available.
I have powered through things in life and I hate having to ask for help so this has been tough but I am surrounded by family and friends that have been helping and offering to help if needed.
My husband has been an absolute rock! My friends Cindy & Kim have driven me to so many appointments that I have lost count. Flowers have been brought, meals dropped off and encouraging words given. I can't thank you all enough.

Hillman Cancer Center in Williamsport has been great!
For anyone going through Chemo, please ask for a Cooling Cap!! It is used to keep your hair from falling out. It obviously is nowhere close to stylish and it runs freezing cold water over your scalp during treatment but fingers crossed that it works!

We are trying to keep a sense of humor when possible because truly, if you don't laugh you will cry and I have had enough of that!
So I am attaching a view pics that will hopefully make you laugh also!
My husband has found joy in using AI and you will see his version of me, Superwoman attacking cancer on a fire breathing dragon! (Reality is that on day 1 my dragon got the hiccups, accidently caught my cape on fire and we crash landed! Nailed It!)
My BFF Cindy Mcwilliams gifted me with my Chemo bag full of everything I needed for treatment days and she has driven me so many times that he was kind enough to create her new persona, Uber Girl!

BUSINESS UPDATE

It’s with a very heavy heart that I need to share some personal news.

I was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, specifically Papillary Adenocarcinoma. At this point, surgery is not an option, and I will be starting chemotherapy and immunotherapy this coming week. Many people are able to tolerate chemo well, but because I cannot take steroids—which play a major role in both treatments—this will be more challenging. Thankfully, we’ve found a doctor willing to move forward without steroids and use alternative medicines, so we are staying hopeful. Still, when you add this to the Parkinson’s I’ve been struggling with over the past year, I’m concerned about my ability to be in the shop consistently and keep up with making the products you all love.

I’m sharing this because deciding to put the business on a temporary hiatus was incredibly difficult, but it’s something I have to do for my health.

For those of you who rely on certain products, please don’t panic—I will do my best to keep a few essentials available.

What to Expect Moving Forward
The store will be open today, Sunday, March 1st, from 10 AM – 2 PM.

The website will remain online, but ordering will be disabled.
If you need something, you can call or text me at 570‑951‑6666. If I have it in stock, you can pick it up or have it shipped.
Please keep in mind this will depend on how I’m feeling, so I appreciate your patience.

I will also try to keep products stocked at Savvy Locks, so you can always check there for availability.

Please don’t rely on our Google page for hours.
Someone keeps hacking my account and locking me out, so I can’t update anything. (Yes… I still hate Google!)
I’ll be posting updates here on Facebook instead.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every single one of you. You’ve been the best customers anyone could ask for. Over the last eight years, I’ve made wonderful friendships, and bringing my childhood dream to life has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You all helped make that possible.

This road is going to be bumpy, but I’m staying positive. I have an incredible support system of family and friends, and I’m determined to fight hard, kick some cancer ass, and get back to doing what I love.
