Project id is a non-profit organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Projectid is a non-profit organization established to provide recreation, social, work, and other life opportunities for adults (and their families) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Spokane County. Projectid was formed out of the vision of one set of parents and their desire to create a future for their daughter and her peers who have special needs. This would allow them to enjoy the same pleasures, responsibilities, and growth opportunities as every young adult but within a context that met but challenged their needs. That vision, shared with a group of coaches and volunteers already passionate about this population through Special Olympics Sports (Spokane's Wolfpack), formed the foundation for Project id. Project is about to open a recreation center for adults with intellectual disabilities and begin programming including family resources, classes and groups on life and living skills and specialized job training.

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. They worked hard and had a lot of fun along the way!

There were plenty of laughs, high-fives, and great teamwork. 👏😄
We’re excited to share that 5 athletes will be heading to State competitions later this month!

Hello Project ID members, families, and care teams,
Can you believe it’s already February?! Me either— but that just means lovely spring is on its way… yay! 🌸
The February calendars are attached for your viewing pleasure. Be sure to mark your calendars for February 28th — it’s Bingo Bash Saturday! 🎉 We’ll once again have volunteers joining us from Life Center Church, and we always love having them here. They help make this such a fun and engaging event. If you’ve never attended a Bingo Bash before, this is the perfect time to join us!
As a reminder, due to staff illness or other unforeseen circumstances, excursions are subject to change without notice. If you have paid for an outing that is changed or canceled, your payment will be held and applied to a future outing.

This past year, our Project id family has grieved the loss of three precious souls who meant so much to our community.

Dixie, our founder, faithfully followed God’s calling to create a place of belonging, love, and purpose. Her obedience and vision continue to shape our mission.
Trish, a devoted volunteer, served with a servant’s heart, loving our members as Christ loves us.
Uma, a beloved member, shared God’s joy through her warm hugs and beautiful spirit that reflected His love to everyone she met.

While our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that each of them is now in the presence of the Lord, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Their lives were a blessing, and their legacy will live on through the love they shared.
