Hello Friends! We are back! Join .brand, me, and .the.piggy and her oinkin' friends for our upcoming Stretch, Sip, and Shop event! Enjoy an hour of gentle flow yoga followed by a glass of wine while you enjoy the beautiful backdrop of the vineyard and hang out with some amazing piggies!

India’s second wave of the COVID19 global pandemic is a humanitarian crisis and the death and suffering is truly devastating 💔💔. I am saddened to still see that most of the folks sharing about this are South Asian. The Yoga community around the world must do better. This is a call in - India needs your support. It is not about pity or the white saviour complex. They don’t need that. What they need is empathy and compassion along with most importantly monetary donations to support grass roots relief efforts on the ground, specifically with oxygen.

Real talk friends! So I go through a ton of yoga websites and pinterest looking for yoga poses I want to learn. Many of the images I see involve Caucasian women who are very slim. While I'm sure these ladies are slim thanks to a healthy lifestyle and having a disciplined yoga practice, it is disheartening that there aren't a lot of images out there of curvy and strong women doing yoga. I also rarely see yoga images of women that are NOT Caucasian. Not going to lie, this brings up a lot of insecurities about my own body and skin color, even though yoga did originate in India. I strive to represent the curvy, minority population in my practice! No matter your body type, color of your skin, or level of practice, get out there and represent YOUR practice!
