Acne Myths Busted!!

❌ “only teenagers get acne” - Although acne most frequently appears in teenagers: acne is the most common skin disease, people of all ages experience acne!

❌ “overly washing or using a physical exfoliate will get rid of my acne” - while excessive debris and oil can aggravate acne, overly washing or using a physical exfoliate scrub will strip your skin of its natural oils that is needed to stay hydrated and healthy and will only exacerbate your acne.

❌ “moisturizers will break me out” - Moisturizing is an essential part of maintaining a healthy, hydrated skin barrier and is helpful to avoid irritation when using acne treatments.
