🌟 Office Staff Spotlight: Milton Scheduler 🌟
Today, we’re excited to shine a light on one of the incredible team members who keeps our Milton office running smoothly every single day!
Please help us celebrate Christen, our dedicated Scheduler, whose hard work, compassion, and calm-under-pressure presence make a difference for both our caregivers and our clients.
Christen goes above and beyond for our IHH family—whether she’s navigating last-minute schedule changes, supporting caregivers, coordinating client needs, or simply offering a kind word on a tough day. Her reliability, positivity, and work ethic truly embody what Independent Home Health stands for.
💬 Here’s a little more about Christen, in her own words:
🌟What is your role at IHH, and what does a typical day look like for you?
- Scheduler. My typical day consists of checking the call dashboard and fixing any errors, going through appointments and making sure shifts were covered the day before and if not, then missing them with explanations of why they were missed. Then checking the prebilling and fixing the POC checklist. After I review those, I check emails and address issues or make phone calls. I go through my calendar to see if there are any meet and greets that day and text caregivers to remind them. I also look through the client needs hour list and try to match them up with caregivers. I consistently check dashboard and broadcasted shifts to see if there are any changes. I also attend meetings, provide updates, communicate with families for staffing updates, take calls from caregivers who need off or are calling off. I then help find replacements for the call offs.
🌟What do you enjoy most about working with IHH?
- I really like connecting people with others that can help them and are a good match. It is helpful to have the support through the office staff as well.
🌟What's one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
- I hate driving. I can rap Wu Tang-Mystery of Chessboxin
🌟What's something you do behind the scenes that people might not realize helps keep things running smoothly?
- I'm not sure I do anything behind the scenes, I think I am pretty transparent and communicate with others what I am doing so that everyone is on the same page.
🌟Outside of work, what are some hobbies or activities you enjoy?
- Hanging out with family, live shows, crafts, tie dying, traveling, naps.
