Lavender, get in my brain! 💜 fun fact: our olfactory sense is our only sensory intake that doesn’t have a nervous system filtering process before hitting our limbic system (the emotional/memory/behavioral center of our brain). This is why we have such strong memories (or ptsd) with certain smells, and it’s what makes aromatherapy such a powerful healer.
