Defenders of Freedom FL provides donors with the organization they need to support Post 9/11 Veterans by providing morale building programs, DAV/SSDI assistance, counseling, equine therapy, community outreach programs and our leading edge TBI center.

As we come upon this special day, remember those we have lost, the ones who paid the ultimate price, and say their names out loud. Remember what they stood for, represented, and made you feel. Today we honor them on Memorial Day. Please be safe and make sure you all make it home safe, the mission continues tomorrow and we need everyone!🇺🇸

Proud of the work we do here locally in the Florida Panhandle, but DOFFL reaches more areas then here. Proud of our work with partner organizations in Nicaragua who have helped our veterans with healing retreats and now we were able to help rebuild one of the homes lost during the terrible storms over there. We had DOFFL team members helping in the cause and are almost complete with the mission.

Collaboration vs Competition, it’s more than a punchline and something we’ve built with partners locally and abroad!

Waves of Love, Oceanic Expeditions Nicaragua, Greg Baker and the rest of the team that made this possible THANK YOU, for all you do and the continued support for our veterans and your communities. Look forward to sending more veterans later this year.

Project:VetRelief, this is just one of the many things you have helped our veterans do and support.

Any of my veteran partners that are looking for financial management, managing credit, or other financial questions answered tomorrow at the Mission Next center from 6:00-7:30 NFCU will have speakers there to give a briefing and answer questions. Additionally, the United Way will have representatives there answering questions as well.

No cost, no hassle, if you need it, come join us, if you know someone who could use the information this hour and a half may help save money, credit and improve overall stability.

It’s offical, we have a new office 1June2026 at 4300 Bayou Blvd St27. We look forward to serving the veteran community and reaching more sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters as we expand the mission.

Thank you to everyone who has continued supporting DOFFL and our mission, especially those who have also adopted our motto “Collaboration vs Competition” and helped build the network.

Super thankful for all our sponsors,donors and supporters. Thanks to two special partners DOFFL will have its new office effective 1June26! We will start processing, screening and planning from this new location and look forward to growing. Plenty of parking and a quiet professional office to host more potential sponsors, donors, volunteers and of course our Veterans 🇺🇸

Great evening with our partners at Winkler's Wish Foundation and the veterans and other organizational leaders that attend. Sharing issues, solutions and different techniques for solving problems.

Afterwards we did a team building/ice breaker that everyone enjoyed and taking with them.

It always impresses us at DOFFL to see all the organizations that believe in “Collaboration vs Competition “ and have shared our message and grown the group.

Winklers Wish is special to DOFFL because it’s one of the first organizations we worked with that spiderwebbed our network not only in partnerships but veterans we have reached and assisted in their development and growth. Over $60k raised and spent with veterans from this group and it wouldn’t have been possible without their introduction and assistance 🇺🇸

We ALL grow together and continue to preach and push “Collaboration vs Competition “ until it’s a common message by all.

Was great to hear from Okaloosa Veterans Court yesterday and be asked to possibly help one of their veterans in need of service. We talk all the time about "Collaboration vs Competition" and this was a perfect example. Another organization recommended us to them and they followed up and soon we are hoping to send this veteran for treatment if the courts will allow.

We all grow together! This was a great example of building the network and taking Action vs Awareness!

On behalf of us here at DOFFL we hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year’s Eve, now let’s focus on 2026 and being better than we were last year.

We hope to push “Collaboration vs Competition “ to the next level and bring more teams/orgs to the network.

Additionally this year we hope to raise the funding to send one veteran per quarter for TBI treatment and you can be a part of that. Please consider volunteering, donating and helping create fundraisers that can support our mission. We couldn’t do what we do for our veterans without the generosity and support of our communities 🇺🇸
