Heads UP! No guarantee that Tirzepatide will be available after the next 24 - 48 hours. A U.S. federal judge ruled late yesterday refusing to allow compounding pharmacies to keep making compounded Tirzepatide. Some of the larger compounding pharmacies will be allowed to continue until March 19 but supply will not be guaranteed. Semaglutide has also been taken off the short list and will no longer be available after mid April. Let me know if you want to get your Tirzepatide order in before it ends 😬

As of approximately 4 PM on October 1, 2024, the FDA has removed Mounjaro/Zepbound from the shortage list. Consequently, the compounded formulation of tirzepatide will no longer be available. Previously, the FDA granted special permission for compounding pharmacies to produce and distribute injectable tirzepatide during the shortage of the branded formulation. However, Eli Lilly has now reported that the shortage has been resolved.

Our compounding pharmacy is currently awaiting the official notification to cease distribution, which is expected to occur within the next few days. Patients who wish to place an order for compounded tirzepatide should do so by tomorrow, as I cannot guarantee availability beyond that point.

Alternatives remain available, including semaglutide and a sublingual formulation of tirzepatide. We understand this development may be disappointing, particularly for those who have experienced significant benefits from tirzepatide, myself included. We are committed to exploring and providing other options to support your weight loss journey.
