HAPPY JULY 4TH!!!

If you do not have an orthopedic problem, massage is a perfectly acceptable “stand-alone” treatment. People tend to get muscle tightness or turgor as a result of working out vigorously. Massage has proven to be very successful at decreasing muscle tightness and restoring a supple feel to muscle bellies.

The Return to Sports program is an innovative and injury-specific training system for athletes recovering from an injury or surgery. It is coordinated and collaborative care between the HPT Sports Medicine staff, physical therapy and the referring physician. This program transitions an athlete from completion of physical therapy to fully returning to performance, thus, “bridging” the gap between physical therapy and full-go return to sports.
