It's that time of year again!

We’re excited to announce the start of our Annual Food Drive! Each year, we partner with a local food pantry to help those in need, and this year, we are proud to be working with FoodRaising Friends, Inc.

FoodRaising Friends, Inc. is a non-profit food program based in Milton, Florida. They act as a nutritional bridge for children across northwest Florida during school breaks, removing barriers to improve educational outcomes. Their mission is to increase children’s access to food through intentional relationships with school and community programs in and around Milton & Pensacola, Florida, so these children can thrive.

Our goal is to work together and make this the most successful drive yet! Your generosity makes a world of difference for local families facing food insecurity. Be on the lookout for where donations will be accepted!

The Milton team enjoyed spending Halloween at Trick or Treat in the Streets of Jay. We saw so many cute costumes and gave out tons of goodies.

Our Emerald Coast Hospice Milton team was honored to be a sponsor for and participate in the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday in Pensacola. As hospice workers, Alzheimer's awareness is near and dear to our hearts.

It was an honor to partner with St. Rose of Lima for our Annual Food Drive this year. Emerald Coast Hospice Milton, along with some of our local facilities, raised 436 lbs of food and made a $50 monetary donation to the food pantry.

St. Rose of Lima feeds roughly 1300 people monthly through its food pantry in our local community. The need in our community is so very real, and it was a truly humbling experience to donate to their ministry.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who donated and made this food drive such a success.

Our Emerald Coast, Hospice Milton crew, enjoyed a paint party on Friday, which allowed us to build teamwork and have lots of laughs. We also had to say "see you later" to our Senior Patient Care Manager as she started a brand new adventure! We will miss her dearly and wish her nothing but the best.

With under a week left of our 2024 Food Drive, Emerald Coast Hospice Milton is excited to share our progress so far. Our office staff, as well as some of our local facilities, have been working hard in the month of September, collecting canned goods and non-perishable items to support a local food pantry. This year, we are proud to donate all food items, as well as monetary donations, to St. Rose of Lima, located here in Milton, FL. The St. Rose of Lima food pantry helps feed countless families in our community. We are excited to share the total amount of lbs we collected at the end of this week.

There is still time to donate. Donations can be dropped off at our office in Milton. We are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
