ISP Spring Crafting! 🌸

Clients in the Increased Support Program are always eager to show off their creativity, and yesterday they tried a new tissue paper project! Using Play-Doh as a base, they placed sticks into the dough to push tissue paper into place, forming flower petals. Their artwork was complete with ladybugs and butterflies on top.

It’s always fun to see our clients light up when sharing their creations and to see how unique each piece is. We can’t wait to see the colorful crafts this program creates throughout the spring season!

KANDU Industries is looking for a Day Services Manager to lead daily operations, support staff, and help create meaningful experiences for clients in the Day Services program. This role plays an important part in ensuring high-quality care while finding new ways to strengthen team performance and client engagement.

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities, and the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and staff. Experience in caregiving or day services is preferred.

Easter Rabbits in ISP! 🐰

Clients in the Increased Support Program had fun creating their own Easter rabbits! They cut out rabbit shapes, added colorful tissue paper using sticky tape, and finished their artwork with a tail and eye.

Each piece turned out great, and it was wonderful to see how every project reflected each client’s unique creativity. Moments like these show the value of hands-on activities that encourage self-expression while creating something meaningful to take home for the holiday.

Clients and staff received a fun surprise today as a couple of Easter bunnies made their way through the building handing out eggs! Staff members Victoria and Michelle visited each program, spreading smiles and delivering treats.

KANDU Karaoke Dance Break!

Once a month, clients from all programs at KANDU come together in the theatre room for karaoke. After everyone had a chance to sing yesterday, the fun continued with an impromptu group dance break! Clients and staff showed off their moves and had a great time together.

Moments like these are just one of the many ways we bring people across the building together to connect, share memories, and celebrate their talents. We’re already looking forward to another afternoon of karaoke next month!
