If you’ve been following KANDU, you know our Minds in Motion clients are always off on a new adventure! Recently, they’ve taken on a corn maze, visited local libraries, spent time at the zoo and on a farm, all while continuing to build skills and work toward their personal goals.

Fun on the Farm!

Recently, our Day Services/Memory Care clients enjoyed a special visit to Rebout Family Farm! Everyone showed up ready to ask a question to Doug Rebout, who generously spent time sharing his knowledge and passion for agriculture.

Some of our clients' favorite facts from the day include Doug having approximately 600 cows on his farm, each cow eating about 50 pounds of food per day, and that cows actually prefer cooler weather, as their hair acts like a built-in leather coat!

It was a fantastic day full of learning and fresh air. Outings like this are just one of the many engaging activities our Day Services/Memory Care program offers each month, along with a variety of on-site activities that provide routine, meaningful connection, and fun every day.

ISP Got Crafty for Oktoberfest! 🍂🎃

Last Saturday’s Oktoberfest was the perfect fall kick-off for the Increased Support Program! ISP clients and staff went all out with festive pumpkin decorating, handmade coasters, and cozy autumn decorations that transformed their space and set the tone for the celebration.

We love involving our clients in event setup and celebrating their creativity by showcasing their handmade pieces. These craft projects aren’t just seasonal fun but also part of the weekly routine, offering meaningful opportunities for each individual's personality to shine and talents to be recognized.
