“My name is Amanda and I work for the Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the Milton
Location.
I would like to nominate Lisa, our wonderful social worker. I would like to start my story with who doesn't love Lisa? Residents of MRC and staff alike, all compete for Lisa's heart felt attention. To helping with those that have needs and wishes to go home, to needing someone reliable to talk to, feel safe with, to just needing a pick me up laugh or a shoulder to cry on. Her smile warms hearts showing the potential of her very own super power! Her patience out rivals most and tames many situations. Lisa is eager to lend a helping hand in whatever situation; she never turns down a person that needs a hand, hug or laugh. When one of our own staff, very close to Lisa, suddenly passed away, Lisa quickly put together grief counseling for our residents and staff, secretly grieving herself. She never let the residents down, and she has never left any of us down either. I have never met a more deserving person such as Lisa who deserves recognition of her beautiful heart. Thank you, Lisa, for all that you do for not just our residents, but your coworkers as well. Thank you, Lisa, for giving us a place in your heart.
