In April, CWB was overjoyed to offer a clinic in the small village of San Juan Sur, San Ramón in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica.
San Ramon is a rural area surrounded by wilderness and farmland. As in the rest of Costa Rica, about 25% of the population falls below the poverty line. Many of these families have a difficult time accessing quality healthcare.
Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to pay two highly skilled doctors to offer free exams, preventative care and free medicine to 80 children, and our incredible volunteers made the clinic run smoothly.
CWB helps bridge the large gaps in the Costa Rican health care system and give these children the care they need and deserve. %100 of our budget comes from donations from people like you.
