The secret to manifesting your goals is the clarity you bring to them. ๐โ
โ
You can't hit a target you haven't clearly defined! Take the time to write it downโnot vaguely, but with detail, emotion, and deadline. ๐๏ธ ๐โ
โ
Your written goal becomes the blueprint the universe (and your brain!) can actually follow. ๐๏ธโ
โ
It's not magic; it's clarity and focus. ๐ฏโ
โ
What goal are you manifesting right now? Swipe to follow our journal prompt, and share with us in the comments below! ๐ ๐

Is it possible to GRIEVE someone who's still alive?๐๐ปโโ๏ธโ
โ
The answer: YES, and we might refer to it as "ambiguous loss". ๐ฅฒโ
โ
Ambiguous loss is the grief we feel when someone is physically there, but emotionally absent. It might be an estranged parent, a relationship that's inconsistent, or a friend that's emotionally unavailable. ๐ฏโ
โ
If you are experiencing this type of loss, your grief is valid. ๐๐ฝโ

The hardest part is often SITTING STILL and learning to acknowledge and feel the difficult stuff without running from it. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธโ
โ
Sitting in the discomfort of challenging emotions is like building a new muscle. ๐ช๐พโ
โ
The right therapist will create a safe space for you to do this and will guide you along the way. ๐๏ธโ

Self-compassion isn't about letting yourself off the hook or trying to be positive when you don't genuinely feel it. ๐ซโจโ
โ
It's about offering the same kindness and care to yourself that you'd offer to a close friend. ๐ฏโ
โ
It's about telling yourself, "it's okay" to feel whatever you're experiencing. โ
โ
Therapy can help us learn to practice more self-compassion. ๐ฟโ

When you TRULY feel relaxed and at home around someone, you'll notice these 5 things...๐

Diving into a therapy session can be intense and overwhelming sometimes, especially if you have a lot on your mind. ๐ฎโ๐จโ
โ
Thatโs why our therapists take a thoughtful and curious approach to opening each session. ๐ง โ
โ
Swipe to learn about some of the questions we might ask at the beginning of a session. ๐๐ฝโ
โ
Reflecting on these questions can be a helpful way to prepare for therapy and determine whatโs most helpful or important to you. โ๏ธ

Do you ever find yourself saying "NO WORRIES" when you actually have lots of worries? ๐๐ปโโ๏ธโ
โ
Maybe it's our fear of confrontation, people-pleasing nature, or desire to appear agreeable that makes us say the phrase. ๐ฏโ
โ
Either way, it can stop us from communicating our true feelings, needs, and desires.๐๐ปโโ๏ธโ
โ
Swipe to learn some alternative responses that can help us communicate more clearly, honestly, and authentically. ๐๐พ

โMom guiltโ โ itโs that sneaky feeling that tells us weโre not doing enough, not being enough, or somehow falling short. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธโ
โ
But what if we started breaking free from its grip? ๐คโ
โ
Being a good mom does not mean being the perfect mom. ๐โ
โ
Being a good mom looks like: โ
โ
๐ฟ prioritizing your well-being โ
โ
๐ก๏ธ setting good boundaries โ
โ
โจ embracing imperfection โ
โ
๐ง trusting your instincts โ
