Prenatal Care Coordination (PNCC) is a Medicaid and BadgerCare Plus benefit that helps pregnant women get the support and services they need to have a healthy baby. This program provides access to medical, social, educational, and other services to pregnant women who are considered high risk for adverse pregnancy outcomes. The components of this benefit are outreach, assessment, care plan development, ongoing care coordination and monitoring, and health education and nutrition counseling. La coordinación de cuidados prenatales (PNCC, por sus siglas en inglés) es una prestación de Medicaid y BadgerCare Plus que ayuda a las mujeres embarazadas a conseguir el apoyo y los servicios que necesitan para tener un bebé saludable. El programa brinda acceso a servicios médicos, sociales, educativos, y otros a las mujeres embarazadas quienes se consideran de alto riesgo para resultados adversos del embarazo. Los componentes de esta prestación son alcance, evaluación, desarrollo del plan de cuidados, cuidado vigilancia continuas de los cuidados, educación sobre la salud y orientación sobre la nutrición.

Were you told to limit your baby at the breast early on? While older babies can get a considerable amount of milk in a shorter amount of time, it's only because they've learned to do so. Newborns need much more time at the breast while they're learning how to feed.
