Our hearts are heavy, but they are still full of hope.

As many of you know, our family has been facing an unimaginable medical crisis. My daughter-in-law suffered a major stroke caused by a brain infection. What began as something no one could have anticipated quickly turned into a fight for her life. For days, it was touch and go. She was on a ventilator, and we waited, prayed, and held our breath.

She has since been removed from the ventilator — a miracle we do not take lightly — but this is only the beginning of a long, uncertain road.

Her recovery will require intensive, live-in rehabilitation and ongoing medical care. The physical, cognitive, and emotional work ahead of her is enormous, and so is the financial burden that comes with it. Rehab of this level is not optional — it is essential for her chance at regaining independence and quality of life.

Our family has started a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of her rehabilitation, medical expenses, and the basic needs that come with caretaking during this time. If you are able to donate, share, or simply hold her in your thoughts and prayers, it means more than we can ever put into words.

For those who prefer, donations can also be made in person.

This is one of those moments where community truly matters. We are overwhelmed by the love already shown and humbled beyond measure. Please continue sending healing vibes, prayers, and strength — she feels them, and so do we.

Spring is whispering already 🌱✨ and that means it’s altar refresh season.

As the days stretch and the energy shifts, now is the perfect time to clear off the old, dust the sacred, and invite in fresh intention.

Here are some pictures of new altar decorations we’ve brought in—pieces chosen to support renewal, growth, and fresh beginnings as we move toward spring. Let them inspire you, whether you’re adding something new or just shaking things up.

If you can’t afford new, do this instead:
• Cleanse your altar with smoke, sound, or even a good physical wipe-down
• Rearrange what you already have—sometimes movement is the magic
• Rotate seasonal items: put winter pieces away and bring out lighter colors or symbols of growth
• Re-dedicate your tools with a spoken intention or prayer
• Add found magic: a budding branch, a feather, a stone, a pressed leaf
• Write a new intention for the coming season and place it on your altar

Altars don’t have to be expensive. But they do need to be alive.

Witches were never hunted for magic alone. They were hunted for being independent, outspoken, sexually autonomous, elderly, poor, childfree, child-bearing without permission, healers without licenses, women who knew too much and needed no man to authorize them.

To practice witchcraft today is to refuse shame.
To honor cycles instead of productivity.
To trust lived experience over patriarchal “objectivity.”
To gather in sisterhood instead of competition.

Every spell for bodily autonomy is feminist.
Every ritual for rage, grief, pleasure, rest, and survival is feminist.
