This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for my health and sustainability - the Mysore program at Love is coming to a close.

I’m deeply grateful for what we’ve built together. Nearly three years of Ashtanga MKE is something I will always hold with pride and love.

This does not mean Mysore is leaving Milwaukee. Ford and Mabel are opening an artist co-op at 1029 W Historic Mitchell St, and Ford will continue offering Mysore practice there. Stay tuned for details on that from

I will continue teaching Full Primary Led on Saturdays at 7:30am at Love, and will be adding a Half Primary Led on Sundays at 7:30am in the very near future.

Friday, March 27 will be the final Mysore practice at Love.

This four-week series is designed to introduce the foundations of Ashtanga yoga in a supportive, accessible way. We’ll break down breath, posture, and rhythm while building strength, flexibility, and confidence in the practice. Expect clear guidance, space for questions, and an emphasis on consistency over perfection. No prior Ashtanga experience required — just a willingness to show up and breathe.

Welcome back 🙏 He’ll now be teaching Mysore classes on Mondays & Wednesdays!

Ashtanga Yoga found Ford in the summer of 2024. After taking his first led class the practice resonated deeply with him and he knew he found the style of asana that was for him.

Yoga had come into his life during a time of change and growth. Working in the alcohol industry for 10 years, it was easy to ignore the problems that it was causing in his life. Shortly after being introduced to yoga he lost his job in the beer industry and ended up leaving a home he thought he may live in for many years. Yoga brought a new start, new perspective, and sobriety. Ashtanga has helped him find greater inner peace and a strong supportive community.

A 500 hr CYT, Ford has spent time in Rishikesh, India studying yoga anatomy, alignment, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. He has also studied in Mysore India, practicing Ashtanga at the Sharath Yoga Center and attending yoga philosophy classes from a local teacher. His time studying yoga has helped him deepen his understanding of the benefits of a holistic yoga practice and the importance of bringing the practice into all aspects of life.

The positive changes that yoga has brought into his life motivate him to share the practice with others. As a teacher he wants everyone to find their reason to be on their mat everyday and he loves seeing people experience the growth, grounding and peace that Ashtanga provides.

This 2-hour introductory workshop breaks down the structure, rhythm, and heart of the Ashtanga Yoga method in a way that’s simple, grounded, and accessible.
