Well, the 🐈 is out of the bag!

After talking with Blossom, we’ve both added more room in her workshops that were previously full, and we’ve added on a Mat class into the weekend offerings.

We feel so lucky to be hosting Blossom for a third year in a row. ❤️

When we were brainstorming this year, it only only seemed natural to spend the weekend exploring the rich body of work from her teacher, Kathleen Stanford Grant, or as she is affectionately known in the Pilates world, Kathy Grant.

We’re so looking forward to hosting for the second year in a row next week/end.

All of her other offerings are booked up, but we do have two spots that are up for grabs in her Saturday workshop, Tricky Client Strategies:

“We are all trained to teach people that can move easily. However, the majority of our regular clients have issues. Join us as Blossom will take us through some elements from her bag of tricks for those clients that take a little extra thinking through.

For instance, Blossom had an 80-year-old male client that has one leg 10 pounds heavier than the other. She wants to share with you how she taught Pilates to a woman who had no movement in her ankles. With a few simple tools and movement strategies, you can add to your own bag of tools when working with those tricky clients. You will be able to use these practices when you troubleshoot your next tricky client.”

Join Trey for this virtual workshop he’s teaching for in a couple of weeks!

Looking from our Franklin Method® lens of evolutionary design & function experience the power of imagery, touch and movement exercises to lengthen and balance shoulder and neck musculature. Learn how to melt away tension and associated mental anxiety. Release holding patterns in the upper body by activating the pelvic floor foundation and becoming aware of organic causes of tightness and muscular rigidity. Learn the experiential anatomy of the shoulder girdle and benefit from an increased awareness into the function and interaction of joints and muscles. Exercise with small rolling balls to experience smooth joint action, increased circulation and balanced posture.

This serves as a wholesome foundation for a liberated shoulder girdle and a relaxed, mobile neck. A unique evolutionary invention, our shoulder girdle allows us to maintain our arms above our heads for a fairly long period of time without tiring. The counterbalancing effect of the shoulder blade is especially helpful in arm elevation. Experience how the design of the shoulder girdle suspends it from the ribcage. Learn how to melt away tension and associated mental anxiety. Let your shoulders and neck become a place of ease and comfort.

This course will not only load your brain with functional anatomical information that will inform your ability to “see” the body in front of you, but will also help your cueing reflect function. You’ll expand your imagery for the neck and shoulders, and as well learn fun & functional exercises using Franklin Method® balls and bands. Learn:

•How the shoulder girdle is designed to move.

• To have suspended, free and easy shoulders.

• Imagery to support ease & function in the shoulders.

• To use Franklin Method® balls and elastic bands to create smooth joint action.

Friday May 27th 12-3pm CST
