Today, we kick off Brain Tumor Awareness Month – a time to come together to support, empower, and amplify the voice of the brain tumor community.

Highlighted here is the work that is being done at the MCW Brain & Spine Tumor Program. All of the fundraising efforts at this years Strain for the Brain event will help support all of the hard work that is being done by this amazing team.

We are just one month away from this year’s event and have raised $125,804 of our $200,00 goal. We look forward to seeing you on May 30th at Veteran’s Park!




MCW Brain & Spine Tumor Program

The Neuro-Oncology program carries out clinical trials of chemotherapeutic and other experimental treatments for brain cancer, near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) as well as fMRI studies of tumor angiogenesis aimed at improving early detection and treatment outcomes.
