Respected Milwaukee artist Pamela Anderson, is the Director of Material. Located in the Marshall Building in downtown Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The artists and organizations that comprise Material Studios + Gallery are listed below. Mission Statement: Material Studios + Gallery is a space for artists to create, produce, and develop their entrepreneurial practice. We offer the community an

intimate look into the process of creating, the opportunity to develop a relationship with the artists, along with contributing to their success. Material also houses arts organizations that fuel the health and well being of the local economy. In a fast world of scanning and skimming over the visual overload that constantly assaults....close observation of a work of art can connect us to the subject, to the artist humanity and to our own mindfulness.
We're open Friday and Saturday 1pm-5pm and we welcome you to come and take your time with the large variety of works on display. ART IS MATERIAL!
